Femtosecond laser writing of ferroelectric one-dimensional microstructures possessing waveguide and nonlinear optical properties in Pb(Zr,Ti)O_3 films is considered, and the passage of light beams via obtained waveguide structures is traced. The optimum speed and power density of the writing laser beam are within 50–500 μm/s and 1–1.5 MW/cm^2, respectively. A two-stage method of writing is proposed, which provides for improved nonlinear optical properties of obtained waveguide microstructures.
