The spark discharges influence on multiple collisions of two balls in Newton’s cradle was studied experimentally. The single pendulum dynamics without collisions as well as the dynamics of two pendulums with collisions was video-recorded. A non-monotonic oscillations' damping of the pendulums (the so-called beating effect) was observed both in collisions with spark discharges and without them.The pendulum oscillations' damping was investigated. It was found that collisions between balls increase the damping coefficient, and spark discharges decrease the damping coefficient.
