We elucidate reasons of low values of the magnetization anisotropy for bulk textured samples consisting of strong anisotropic crystallites of (Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox (Bi-2223) superconductor. It was found that the observed anisotropy was linked with the disordered arrangement of Bi-2223 crystallites in the sample. The magnetic angle, which is a characteristic of the disorder, can be determined by measuring the anisotropy of textured superconductors.
