An experimental study of the avalanche breakdown ofthe p−n-junction was carried out in order to study the temporaldistribution of microplasma pulses. It was revealed that theobserved appearance microplasma noise is not described in theexisting model processes that occur during avalanche breakdownof p−n-junction. Using simulation, a computer model wasdeveloped that clarifies the mechanisms of microplasma instabilityand takes into account the electrical and temperature dependencesof avalanche breakdown, which is consistent with the results ofexperiments.
