The extraordinary technological development that occurred in the last fifty years, in which Medicine has evolved more than in the previous fifty centuries, has given rise to several questions of an ethical nature. Bioethics emerged to help humanity to act in a balanced way in the face of environmental and behavioral changes arising from technological evolution.
