In this review, we summarize the current information on alternatives to substitution hormonal therapy of hypoestrogenic conditions using medicines with plant phytoestrogens. The biological effects of resveratrol and 8-prenylnarengenin are considered, the prospect of creating new medications for the correction of hypoestrogenic, including postmenopausal disorders in women, is outlined
