The paper discusses the educational activity conducted by the Orthodox Church fraternitie in Lviv in the second half of the 16th and 17th centuries. Attention was paid to textbooks on the history of Christianity in Poland as well as monographic works devoted to specific problems related to the history of the Orthodox Church in the Ruthenian lands of the Polish-Lithuanian state in the 16th and 17th centuries.. The study presents also an analysis of publications on the problem of educational activities of the Lviv Brotherhood.
