On November 25th, 2020, Professor Julian Richards presented Extremist Propaganda and the ‘Politics of the Internet’ at the 2020 CASIS West Coast Security Conference. The presentation was followed by a question and answer period with other speakers. The key points of discussion focused on the effectiveness of internet use by extremist groups to expand their networks and spread disinformation.
