This briefing note summarizes the presentation given by Commander Jason Kelshall, examining contemporary security concerns through the lens of his experience in the Navy of Trinidad and Tobago. The presentation took place at the Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies’ (CASIS) first annual security conference on November 16th, 2018. The conference included both practitioners and academics, speaking to a variety of security concerns relevant to Canada.
