El matrimonio de conveniencia o complacencia como problema jurídico en el fenómeno migratorio

Several social issues involved in the migratory phenomenon generate direct or indirect impacts over the law. Depending on the treatment given to such issues by internal and international regulations, there is a series of factual situations that entail risks due to the existing discrepancy of what is reflected in the Civil Registry and the legitimacy of a particular legal act. One of these situations is observed in the marriages of complacency. Therefore, based on the factual assumptions addressed in the most important judgments by the Spanish jurisdiction during the last 10 years, this article studies the recent legislative reform enacted in Spain and questions some of the problematic issues this has established.
