The article considers the assessment of the need to adopt the legal neutrality of intelligent systems (IP). The author comes to the conclusion that IP is successfully used in various fields today, but in order to eliminate the multiple risks associated with their use, it is necessary to adopt appropriate laws and develop a legal policy regarding the regulation of relations involving IP. The set of principles governing the above-mentioned relations should include the principle of legal neutrality of IP to ensure that unnecessary barriers are not erected to realize the benefits of IP.
