The article deals with the issues of ensuring the safety of convicts who have committed crimes against sexual integrity and sexual freedom of the individual. The author defines the basis for ensuring personal security as a set of preventive, regime, operational and other measures carried out by structural divisions of a correctional institution. Special attention is paid to the work of the above-mentioned services aimed at preventing crimes against this category of convicts. Legal regulation is the basis for ensuring the safety of the individual in a correctional institution. The author highlights the issues of legislative support of granting parole, replacing the unserved part of punishment by softer kind of punishment and change of the correctional institution for convicted perpetrators of crimes against sexual inviolability and sexual freedom of the person. Proposed measures for the prevention of crimes against convicted persons.
