The effective activities of the operational units of the Federal Penal Correction Service, the organization and tactics of carrying out various complexes of operational and search activities in the conditions of the institutions of the penal correction system in the field of combating terrorism and the organization of counteracting its ideology among those sentenced to deprivation of liberty require taking into account many factors, including the state of terrorist activity and the level of its threat in the region as a whole. The development of the practice of its independent study and further daily use of the information received at the same time creates the possibility of improving the methods of operational and search activities used in the Federal Penal Correction Service in this line of work.
