This work aims to present a System of Storage and Recognition of Provenance Marks. Such a system consists of an online data repository, a mobile application (app) and a web application server for image processing. For the construction of the theoretical contribution, a bibliographic and documentary review was used. The repository will make it possible for users and institutions to deposit photographic records of their marks, consult and collect metadata of marks’ registration already available. The app will be used exclusively for recognition of the provenance marks registered in the repository. The study of the provenance marks in bibliographic collections covers investigations on the trajectories of use and possession covered by the book throughout its existence and makes it possible to know preferences and fads that have historically influenced readers and libraries. In this sense, the use of technological tools assists the professional in obtaining information about specimens and their marks.
