The Victim’s Right to InformationSummaryThe article describes the Polish legal provisions to ensure the victimof a crime of the proper conditions to exercise his right to information.The Polish provisions are examined in the light of the requirements laiddown in Directive 2012/29/UE of the European Parliament and of theCouncil of 25 October 2012, which establishes minimum standards onthe rights, support and protection of victims of crime. In her conclusion the author observes that Polish law is becoming more and morecompatible with EU law, but there are still some issues which requireremodelling. This applies above all to the full accessibility of informationin the sense of clarity and user-friendliness.
