Napoleońska epepeja polskich żołnierzy w twórczości Juliusza Kossaka

In this article, the work of the outstanding Polish battle painter and the illustrator of 2-nd half XIX century J. Kossak (the founder of an art dynasty), devoted to Napoleonic Wars are considered. Many of pictures and water colors of the artist show the Polish soldiers – participants of the Epopee. In them were reflected not only the art work and research of themaster, his vision of the past, but also national – patriotic idea of revival of Poland.
