In a prospective randomized trial (95 patients) a method of predicting gastroduodenal complications in cardiac patients was evaluated on the basis of the morphofunctional features of erosive and ulcerative lesions of the stomach, hypoxic tests and intragastral pH monitoring for pathogenesis-based prevention and treatment of these complications. The dynamics of intragastric pH during cardiac surgery and in the early postoperative period was analyzed; its correlation with clinical and laboratory data was studied. An algorithm for risk assessment, prevention and treatment of gastroduodenal complications was proposed (sensitivity -83.3%, specificity -88.9%, the critical point pH3.7, р<0.05).
