The article presents a comparative analysis of the clinical course of pulmonary embolism and the effectiveness of thrombolytic therapy in patients with thrombophilia and in those without identified thrombolytic disorders. The impact of thrombophilia on the incidence of pulmonary embolism and phlebothrombosis was analyzed. The results obtained indicate the presence of thrombophilia in 25.7% of patients with pulmonary embolism. It was found out that thrombosis and embolism in the vena cava filter occurred more frequently in patients with thrombophilia rather than in those with pulmonary embolism of unknown etiology.
