The article is devoted to the analysis of the peculiarities of control practices in the situation of «liquid modernity». The metaphor of the panopticon proposed by M. Foucault is taken as a starting point. The characteristic features of the digital infrastructure of social control are considered. Features of banoptic and synoptic logic of tracking as post-panoptic forms of social control are shown. The flexibility and variability of control made possible by the latest digital technologies testify to a specifically new mode of power to human relations.
