Diagnostic criteria and approaches to the therapy of anxiety syndromes were considered. The basic method of anxiety treatment is psycho-pharmacologic treatment selected depending on the type of prevailing disorder and degree of its severity. The drug selection depends on the degree of anxiety severity and duration of the disease.
