Dextrin, tannic acid and different proportions of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are used to prepare novel materials. The functional and morphological characterization of the prepared nanocomposites was carried out by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). The mechanical strength (Impact, compressing, hardness, and swelling behavior) of composite were evaluated. The thermal stability of composites was evaluated. The addition of AgNPs to the polymer blend matrix improves the physicochemical of the matrix. Due to the cross-linking motion of AgNPs, it is found that the swelling degree slightly decrease. The composite containing AgNPs becomes effective in increasing thermal stability.
