Identification of the transcription errors and methodological problems summarized above is intended to assist future users of the subregular model. Application of this model requires considerable care and attention to detail because of the large number of steps and equations involved. It is recommended that users consider the points raised here and confirm that their own procedures can reproduce the values reported by Elprince et al. (1980) and Chu and Sposito (1981), subject to the corrections noted above.
