An all‐stainless steel apparatus is described that allows for dilution of highly 15 N‐enriched liquid anhydrous ammonia (LAA) with natural abundance LAA to accurately and precisely produce up to 142 mL of LAA for 15 N‐enrichments up to that being used for dilution. Such flexibility of 15 N‐labeling is useful for studies where 15 N‐enrichment requirements are diverse. The apparatus, calibrated for various volume‐pressure combinations of anhydrous ammonia gas at room temperature, allows for sequential recovery of selected amounts of 15 N‐enriched and natural abundance LAA in a liquid N 2 cold trap. The apparatus is constructed from commercially available components and the cylinders used for collecting the 15 N‐labeled LAA are easily adaptable for use in laboratory and field N investigations.
