A procedure was established for determining the potassium quantity‐intensity ( Q/I ) relationships in a continuous manner, based on the use of a K‐selective ion electrode. The method has a reproducibility similar to the usual discontinuous one, yields similar curves, and is more rapid. In consequence it can be used for routine analysis.
