A computer simulation program for predicting n‐dimensional moisture flow in soils is simple to program and does not require extensive mathematical background. The programming was done with the computer program System/360 Continuous System Modeling Program (CSMP). For a number of selected problems the simulation results were compared with existing analytical and numerical solutions, and good agreement was found. Comparisons are made for 1‐dimensional adsorption, 3‐dimensional (spherical) absorption, 2‐dimensional infiltration from a line‐source, and 3‐dimensional infiltration from a point source.
