The solubility product of gibbsite was found to be 10 ‐34.45 , 10 ‐33.96 , and 10 ‐33.52 at temperatures of 15, 25, and 35C, respectively. The findings are consistent with the data of others at 25C. A general equation is given for the calculation of Ksp of gibbsite at different temperatures. The heat of reaction of synthetic gibbsite in the temperature range of 15 to 35C was 18,944 calories/mole.
