Saturated water flow through soil‐filled, standard clay pots draining into the atomosphere was simulated for flood and drip irrigation by an electrolytic tank electric analog. Simulated flow patterns indicated significant zones of low flow rates, particularly during drip irrigation. The significance of these flow patterns to crop growth was not determined.
