Evapotranspiration losses from five lysimeters with different plant species were estimated. Prediction equations were developed and used to estimate soil water regimens, infiltration and runoff in lysimeters with vegetative cover. Calculated soil water contents and runoff for lysimeters with five different plant species were good estimates of measured quantities.
