An aerator for use with radioactive hydroponic media can be constructed with hypodermic needles and rubber or plastic tubing. The system described is inexpensive and adaptable to fit almost any size or configuration of an experiment. It can be disposed of easily in accordance with laboratory health and safety regulations.
