Weighted least squares has been used to estimate the genetic parameters in Three Parameter Joint Scaling Tests. The principles are presented to generalize the method to any combination of generation means and genetic models including epistasis. The method is adaptable to computers with matrix algebra programming and certain programmable calculators.
