The identification of the wheat chromosome arms involved in four translocation situations has been made through Giemsa staining. One translocation is between wheat ( Triticum aestivum L. em. Thell.) chromosomes 4A and 6B, one between rye ( Secale cereale L.) chromosome 1R and wheat chromosome 1D and two different translocations between chromosome 6 c u of T. umbellulatum (Zhuk.) Bowden and 6B of wheat.
