Estimates of seed set of indiangrass, Sorghastrum nutans (L.) Nash, were slightly higher with x‐ray photography than with the rubbing‐board method. However, the two methods agreed closely in relative seed set of different strains. The low x‐ray dosage had no apparent effect on seed germination.
