F 2 populations from 16 reciprocal chromosomal translocation crosses were used to locate the chromosome arm of corn ( Zea mays L.) that carries the gene conditioning the susceptibility of the Mississippi strain of inbred GT112 to atraiine. This gene is located on the long arm of chromosome 8.
