Distribution of Cadmium and Zinc/Cadmium Ratios in Crops from 19 States East of the Rocky Mountains

Zinc and cadmium were determined on 153 wheat and perennial grass samples collected from rural areas in 19 states east of the Rocky Mountains. The levels of Cd were generally below 0.3 ppm. No distinct regional pattern of Cd concentration or Zn/Cd ratio was evident.
