Touring the High Plains to See Science in Action

terprise is very diverse. While each sector has its own unique challenges, they all recognize research and science as a way to solve these challenges. I learned this first hand from my agricultural tour of the High Plains from 24–30 Apr. 2016. The goal of this tour was to gain a fuller understanding of the food and agriculture research and industry enterprise and to be able to use the stories I learned to enhance the Societies’ advocacy efforts in Washington, DC.
