Across the U.S. Midwest and Southeast, farmers and their CCAs face the arduous task of bringing fields back into production following hurricanes, torrential rains, and rivers that swelled over their banks and flooded farm fields. This article addresses the management practices that should be employed after a flood as well as preventative measures that can mitigate the negative effects of future flood events.
