To investigate effective fertilizer practices to address low‐P wine grapes, an experiment was conducted in four wine grape blocks in the Horse Heaven Hills American Viticultural Area (AVA) of Washington State in 2014 and 2015. The research trials evaluated different rates of P fertilizer and also examined wine grape response to foliar‐applied P vs. soil applications of P through the drip irrigation systems.
