Bermudagrass is a warm‐season grass that typically has been used as a hay and pasture grass in the southern U.S., but its adaptability has been moving to the north and now encompasses Delaware. This article discusses variety selection, planting (sprigging; planting long hay, fresh material, or tops; and seeding), and weed control in the U.S. Mid‐Atlantic region.
