A new class of augmented experiment designs is presented. These designs are useful for experiments involving screening new treatments over a variety of conditions. The designs are also useful for screening mixtures of materials such as for intercropping experiments. At the later stages of screening material such as genotypes, herbicides, fungicides, etc., it may be desirable to screen over a variety of conditions. A class of experiment designs is presented for screening new material over conditions such as date of planting, fertilizer level, spacing, herbicide level, etc. A number of examples are presented to illustrate various versions of augmented split block experiment designs. A numerical example with computer code and output is presented in the Appendix.
