A versatile, small plot forage harvester developed at the University of Wisconsin is composed of basic, commercially available items such that the power unit (a standard garden tractor) can be used for other maintenance chores. The unit can be assembled and disassembled rapidly (10 min) and has hastened forage harvesting operation.
