An earlier report based on optical pyrometry indicated that Saran shade cloth did not reduce visible sunlight uniformly. However, new radiometric measurements of green Saran shade cloth made at noon with 30, 47, 63, 73, 80, and 94% light reduction indicated that all the Saran shade cloths tested reduced light uniformly at all wave‐lengths.
