Soil‐incorporated combinations of a,a,a‐trifluoro ‐ 2, 6‐dinitro‐N,N‐dipropyl‐p‐toluidine (trifluralin), and cysitiene resulted in reversal of trifluralin inhibition of secondary root development. Increasing cysteine resulted in an increase in numbers of lateral roots.
