Irradiation of FeEDDHA solutions with gamma rays from a Co 60 source resulted in the same type of degredation of the iron chelate that sunlight causes. Effects of both types of radiation were more pronounced at low pH than at high pH. Hydrogen peroxide seemed to have a similar effect.
