A concurrent Mitscherlich model that can be fitted to a family of response curves via a multiple regression program is shown to be suitable for evaluation of fertilizers. This model provides for a common limiting yield and a common intercept, can be fitted by standard regression programs, and the coefficients obtained are compared readily by statistical tests.
