Strains of Kentucky bluegrass ( Poa pratensis L) were tested for growth and survival under conditions of high temperature with adequate moisture and under conditions of soil drougth. Several clones (A–31, A–17, and A–21) had both heat and drought resistance, while others (A–34, A–1o, A–18, A–19, and A–36) were superior only in growth under high temperature.
