Synopsis Dicamba at 1/2 pound per acre gave effective control of white clover, curly dock, and chicory. At 1 pound per acre dicamba was effective for control of dandelion and chickweed in bluegrass lawns. Bentgrass turf was tolerant to 1/2 pound per acre rates while bluegrass was unaffected at 2 pounds per acre. Substituted oleyl amines of 2,4‐D, 2,4,5‐T, and silvex gave comparable control of broadleaved weeds as dimethylamine salt formulations of these herbicides.
