Synopsis Recovery of N by a single crop of corn from oxamide mixed with the soil decreased with increase in granule size, but total recovery by 3 successive crops was similar for several sizes of oxamide. Similar high recoveries of N by a single corn crop resulted from mixed application of the fine oxamide, urea, NH 4 NO 3 , and (NH 4 ) 2 SO 4 . Recovery from surface‐applied urea and fine oxamide was much lower.
