Synopsis Investigations with 2,4,5‐trichlorophen‐oxyacetic acid (2,4,5‐T) and 2‐(2,4,5‐trichlorophenoxy) propionic acid (silvex) to control post oak ( Quercus stellata Wang.), blackjack oak ( Quercus marilandica Muench.), and dwarf chinquapin oak ( Quercus prinoides Willd.) have shown them to be excellent chemicals for control of brush and release of native grasses.
