Synopsis Yields of legumes were higher following the application of the combination of dalapon and 4‐(2,4‐DB). Bromegrass establishment was superior to orchardgrass in both legumes and at all planting dates. Earliest seedings produced best results. Birdsfoot trefoil was severely injured by late summer mowing when grass seedings were made.
