Synopsis A modified pan evaporimeter measured field evapotranspiration rates under pasture, corn, oats, and alfalfa. Monthly and annual water use totals illustrate differences in seasonal patterns among the crops. Samples of hourly and daily rates reflect the influence of meterological elements measured in the surrounding area.
